a little bit of Christmas

I thought I would share a little bit of our simple Christmas.  The roses are drying now but the tree is still pretty.  I was hoping for some white lights but I waited too long.  The ones we had are very dead.

I finished another pair of pajama points.  Warm and cosy with pockets.  For my Aunt.  I think we all need a little bit of warm and cozy right now.  I spent about three hours ironing fabric today.  Mostly because it will make more stitching later eaiser but also because I needed to do a quiet repetitive task.  Saying prayers as the Desert Fathers did, in my daily tasks.

Lovely tree, I love the idea of using the roses its so unique, sorry you weren't able to get some white lights.
I find Ironing quite relaxing, for years when I felt stressed or couldn't sleep I would open up my closet and iron everything even though it didn't need it.
The pajama pants are coming along nicely. Have a great week.

I have one more pair of pajama pants and then I will be done for this year. Just the pajama pants, not the present sewing.
